Project

Something for all the senses; Thai Taste needed a video that conveyed the colour, taste and smell of their product. A one-stop pack bursting with flavour and Asian aromas. We worked closely with their creative team to develop the storyboard and realistic shot list of pieces that we could capture in one day of production. A mixture of slow-motion, top-down, tracking and hand-held shots ensured a snappy, eye-catching video.  Encouraging even the most novice of cooks to try their hand at a home-made delicacy and to do away with the microwave meal!

We had a variety of shots to capture in a short space of time, large heavy cameras were not the ingredient we needed, we instead opted for our trusty GH5’s plumbed into an Atomos Shogun. We were able to quickly swap between hand-held shots, to top-down and our tracking dolly. Particular attention was given to the colour-grading process, given the product’s Thai heritage. The client wanted each dish to ‘pop’ with colour, but not look artificial.
